Comic-Con Does Its Own Throwback Thursday With Goosebumps Movie Panel

Remember those classic Goosebumps books that would scare the hell out of us in the 90's? Well Sony is making a full length movie with Jack Black playing writer R.L. Stein. The film is about a boy who joins up with the girl next door and her uncle, Black, after the monsters from his books come alive and start wrecking havoc on the town.

(Yeah, this creepy fucker.)

Some pictures have already been released online and some very early cuts of the film were just shown at the Sony Comic Con Panel. A lot of popular monsters from the books will be returning for the film including the very popular ventriloquist dummy, Slappy, who appears to be the ring leader of the shenanigans. Overall vibe is that it will probably rated PG and geared more towards tweens and kids. The film is set to release August 7th, 2015 and you can check out the first look photos below.

X-Men: Days of Future Past End Credits Scene

("So I put my hands up, they're playin my song, the butterflies fly away!")

For anyone who stayed after the credits for X-Men: Days of Future Past, you're probably wondering:
"Who is this guy playing Lincoln Logs with the ancient pyramids?"

That would be Apocalypse. He's one of the first mutants ever and was treated like a God by ancient civilizations. His powers include molecular self manipulation, immortality, energy manipulation, teleportation, and a lot of other crazy shit. He's pretty much one of those bad guys you would never want to fuck with. Oh, and he also has some henchmen called The Four Horsemen. These are mutants that he takes control of and makes them do his bidding of world domination.

He'll be the bad guy for the next movie X-MEN: Apocalypse which is due out on May 27th,  2016. The film will be set in the 1980's and is going to mainly feature the younger X-MEN: First Class cast... though some of the old cast will be returning as well along with some new characters (COUGH Channing Tatum as Gambit COUGH) .

Jurassic World Offers its First Look

The first photos from the set of Jurassic World have come online via Entertainment Weekly. The film takes place 22 years after the events of the Jurassic Park and is rumored to be about the park finally being a successful and widely visited tourist attraction... Before, you know, all hell breaks loose. It stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, and Judy Greer. Jurassic World is do out in theaters next summer on June 12th.
